Update to kitten on hill with wild monkeys.
For a couple days I haven’t seen the kitten. I figured it met the same fate as it’s sister that was thrown from the trees onto the concrete walkway. I was wrong because tonight I saw the kitten.
The monkeys have taken it and they haven’t killed it yet. It’s just a matter of time. One monkey is toting it around like a handbag. The kitten is crying non-stop and the monkey takes it up the rocks, into the trees, etc.
The monkey doesn’t understand how to hold the kitten of course and it bites it on the side of the stomach to pick it up - thinking it’s just like a monkey. I can’t imagine what the kitten is eating since the monkeys eat fruit given to them by visitors to the temple and leaves as they go up the hill in the evening.
Since the kitten didn’t drink much of the milk I gave it the other day I think it’s a toss up whether it dies from lack of food or a monkey drops it - or worse, the monkeys fight over it and pull it apart.
God’s good plan in action. Live from FarkedLife.com.
Audio of kitten crying and me out on the rocks with my hand out trying to get the monkey to give me the kitten. At this point I thought, what the hell - I’ll throw a wrench in God’s farked plan and take the kitten myself. The monkeys didn’t cooperate. I’ll try again tomorrow.
